Ingredients:
1 can of Tomato Paste

6-8 oz warm water

1/2 t. garlic powder

1/2 t. onion powder

Dried basil, oregano, thyme, parsley, etc.

Freshly ground black pepper

Dash of white pepper (for some heat, if desired)

Salt to taste

Directions:
Combine all of the ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat, selecting as few or as many dried herbs as you want to use. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, until the sauce reaches the desired thickness. (If you want a really thick sauce, you might want to start with less water.)Remove from the heat and let stand at room temperature for 15-20 minutes to cool and for flavors to mature before spreading on dough.
